About Us

Where We Are

Where We Are

We are a gathering of believers that meet around the table. For our first thirteen years, we owned Brew Unto Others Coffee Shop in downtown Lamar and met as a church there every Sunday. As our congregation has grown, we have outgrown "The Brew."

Who We Are

Pastor Shannon O'Bryan preaching at a Sunday service in the Shore Arts Center Park in Lamar, CO

At Grace Fellowship Church, we believe in the power of God's love, the divinity of Jesus Christ, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that through faith and prayer, we can overcome any obstacle and live a life of purpose and meaning.

Our Church Staff

Shannon O'Bryan, Pastor

The Lord works in mysterious ways. As a cowboy and rancher that loves Jesus, Shannon O’Bryan found himself landing in unique situations. He was called one Sunday morning to come deliver a message at a local church as a fill-in for the regular pastor who had just received news of his father passing. He ended up preaching there for almost a year, as the regular pastor had resigned. He then became a substitute preacher at various churches in Lamar and locations as far as Stratton. He spoke at several Cowboy Church services at junior and high school rodeos that his children were attending. O’Bryan also started getting a lot of requests to officiate funerals and weddings. He became Grace Fellowship Church’s lead pastor in September of 2023.

Shannon and his wife, Dawni, have been youth group leaders and faithful members of Grace Fellowship and are excited to see the move to the new location. Dawni and their two children, Bianca 24, and Braxton 22, are used quite often as sermon material. God uses O’Bryan to bring the message of His goodness to all who will listen. O’Bryan’s unique style of connection to scripture, Bible stories, humor, and ranching stories leave parishioners encouraged and excited to grow their relationship with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Shannon is also a published author of the book “How to Fight with Your Spouse and Win.”

Jen Piper, Secretary

A more energetic, welcoming church secretary would be hard to find! Jen Piper has been a member of the congregation for many years and moved into the secretary role in 2023. Jen is always working behind the scenes to make sure things happen.
